ANUBE AND DESTINY FROM LITTLE ROCK, AR IS A RAP/R&B DUET. DESTINY HAS SOME FAMILY MEMBERS WHO HAVE LUPUS. ANUBE AND DESTINY LOVE PERFORMING AND PUTTING THEIR OWN SPIN ON THINGS. THE DUET WILL BE RELEASING THEIR FIRST ALBUM THIS YEAR.

NIA RENÈE IS FROM RIGHT HERE IN LITTLE ROCK, AR. SHE HAS A FAMILY MEMBER WHO HAS LUPUS. SHE HAS BEEN SINGING AT AN EARLY AGE WHERE SHE JOINED A COMMUNITY THEATRE. HER PASSION FOR THE ARTS TOOK HER A STEP FURTHER TO THE AR REPERTORY THEATRE IN 2014. SHE HAS RECEIVED MULTIPLE PRINCIPAL ROLES INCLUDING “WILLIE WONKA JR. PLAYING VERUCA SALT. SHE JOINED A PROFESSIONAL OPERA AT AGE 15 AND PLAYED “MADAMA BUTTERFLY”. SHE HAS SUNG THE NATIONAL ANTHEM IN WASHINGTON D.C. AT THE WASHINGTON NATIONALS GAME AND PERFORMED AT NUMEROUS VENUES THROUGHOUT THE CITY TOO NUMEROUS TO NAME.

THE SPA CITY “SENIOR” TAPPERS RESIDE AROUND THE HOT SPRINGS, AR AREA. 50% OF THEIR DANCERS HAVE TIES TO LUPUS, SO THEY DEDICATE THEIR PERFORMANCE TO THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE: ELLA HARPER WHO DIED FROM LUPUS, DIANNE MORAN AND DEBBIE ANTOINETTE WHO ARE LIVING WITH AND SUFFERING FROM LUPUS AND TO ZOE AND JACKSON MAKEPEACE, YOUNG SIBLINGS WHO WERE RECENTLY DIAGNOSED WITH LUPUS. THIS IS A PERFORMING GROUP OF LADIES WHO HAVE ENDURED KNEE REPLACEMENTS, HEART STENTS, BREAST CANCER, LOSS OF A LIMB AND COPD. THEY HAVE BEEN TOGETHER 4 YEARS, AND HAVE A COLLECTIVE AGE OF 775 YEARS YOUNG AND ARE STAUNCH COMMUNITY SUPPORTERS. THEY HAVE PERFORMED IN ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADES AND THE HOT SPRINGS CHRISTMAS PARADES WHERE THEY WON “BEST CHOREOGRAPHY” IN 2016. THEIR OUTREACH MINISTRY PROVIDES ENTERTAINMENT TO THE ELDERLY IN ASSISTED LIVING FACILITIES, RETIREMENT COMMUNITIES AND MEMORY CARE HOMES THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY, AND EVEN AS FAR AS ALMA AND PARAGOULD, AR.
